Engine valve cover BMW 11128507607 seals the upper cylinder head assembly and prevents engine oil leaks across the valvetrain area. Manufactured from heat-stabilised PA66-GF30 composite plastic, the unit withstands internal operating temperatures up to 150 °C and chemical exposure from crankcase vapours. This assembly includes an integrated positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve, internal oil separator baffles, and a main perimeter rubber gasket. Original part number 11128507607 supersedes former reference 11127810584. Standard mounting dimensions match factory cylinder head tolerances, maintaining correct torque distribution across all retaining bolt locations.

This replacement part fits 2.0-litre N47N and N47S1 four-cylinder diesel powerunits. Compatible vehicle fitments include BMW 1 Series F20 and F21, 3 Series F30, F31 and F34 GT, 5 Series F10 and F11, alongside X1 E84 and X3 F25 models produced between 2010 and 2017. Valve cover replacement becomes necessary when the internal PCV membrane ruptures, plastic housing hairline cracks form, or sealing surfaces warp from thermal cycles.
