Engine valve cover BMW 11128581798 seals the upper cylinder head assembly, retaining engine oil and isolating the valvetrain from external contaminants. Manufactured from heat-stabilised PA66-GF30 polyamide, this component withstands operating temperatures from -40 °C to +150 °C without thermal warping or structural cracking. The unit incorporates an integrated crankcase ventilation (CCV) membrane valve, internal oil separation channels, and dedicated seating grooves for the main perimeter seal and fuel injector seals. Manufactured to factory specification under OE part number 11128581798, it features precise M6 bolt mounting points for direct fitment to the cylinder head surface.

This replacement cylinder head cover fits BMW passenger cars and crossovers equipped with 2.0-litre four-cylinder B47 diesel engines produced between 2013 and 2020. Applicable vehicle models include 1 Series F20, 2 Series F22, 3 Series F30 and F31, 4 Series F32, 5 Series F10, F11 and G30, alongside X1 F48, X3 F25 and G01, X4 F26, and X5 F15. Replacement is required when the built-in rubber CCV diaphragm splits, the plastic casing develops micro-fractures, thermal stress distorts the sealing face, or oil leaks persist around the injector wells.
