Overview

Oil filter housing BMW 11428585235 with integrated heat exchanger routes engine lubricant through the filter element while cooling the oil supply. Constructed from heat-resistant aluminium alloy and glass-reinforced polyamide, this unit withstands high thermal cycles and chemical exposure to synthetic motor oils. The assembly includes an aluminium oil cooler, dynamic sealing gaskets, filter cap, bypass valve, and a replaceable paper filter cartridge. The oil cooler features 20 mm coolant port connections and M8 threaded mounting points. Original equipment reference number is BMW 11428585235 (also cross-referenced as 11 42 8 585 235). The housing regulates oil circuit pressure and maintains working fluid temperature under heavy engine loads.

Fitment covers BMW vehicles equipped with 1.5L B37 and 2.0L B47 diesel engines, alongside select B48 petrol variants.
