Dual Cast brake disc Brembo 09C12833 combines a high-carbon cast iron braking ring with a lightweight aluminium hub. This dual-material construction reduces unsprung mass by 15-20% compared to conventional single-piece cast iron discs, improving vehicle handling. Key technical specifications include an outer diameter of 330 mm, a nominal thickness of 28 mm, and a minimum service thickness limit of 26 mm. The disc features internal ventilation pillars for heat dissipation, a centering diameter of 67 mm, and 5 mounting holes. Non-friction surfaces receive a protective UV-cured anti-corrosion coating. This front axle brake disc fits Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) and Alfa Romeo Stelvio (949) models fitted with 2.0 Turbo petrol and 2.2 JTDM diesel engines from 2016 onwards. Replacement is required when the rotor surface wears down to the minimum 26 mm limit, or when severe scoring, deep corrosion pits, or thermal cracking develop across the friction ring.
