Rocker cover gasket Honda 12341R40A00 seals the joint between the engine cylinder head and the upper valve cover. This component prevents engine oil leaks and protects the valve gear from external dirt ingress. Manufactured from heat-resistant polyacrylate rubber (ACM), the seal resists chemical exposure from synthetic oils, engine fluids, and operating temperatures up to +150 °C. Original equipment part number 12341R40A00 features exact OEM dimensions with a profile thickness of 6.5 mm and an overall perimeter length of 1120 mm. Weight is 85 g. The molded elastomeric seal maintains flexibility down to -40 °C, retaining its cross-sectional shape and elasticity under repeated thermal cycling without hardening or cracking.

Fits Honda Accord Mk8 (CU2, CW2) 2.4 petrol models produced 2008-2015 with K24Z3 engines. Also suitable for Honda CR-V Mk3 and Mk4 (RE5, RM4) 2.4 models 2007-2016 with K24Z7 and K24Z9 engines, plus Honda Crosstour 2.4 models 2010-2015. Replacement is required during routine valve clearance adjustments scheduled every 40,000-45,000 km, or when removing the cylinder head cover for maintenance.
