Balancer shaft chain tensioner Honda 13450PNA004 maintains correct tension on the balancer shaft drive chain in K-series engines. The body is die-cast aluminium alloy, housing a hardened steel hydraulic plunger and a spring-loaded mechanical ratchet check mechanism. The ratchet locks the plunger position when engine oil pressure drops at shutdown.
