Overview

Crankshaft oil seal Honda 91212PNC003 seals the front journal of the engine crankshaft, retaining engine oil within the crankcase while preventing dirt ingress. Dimensions measure 43 mm internal diameter, 58 mm outer diameter, and 7 mm thickness. Manufactured from heat-resistant fluoroelastomer compound, this radial shaft seal withstands continuous chemical exposure to synthetic motor oils and operating temperatures up to +200 °C. The component features an integrated garter spring to maintain uniform contact pressure against the rotating shaft surface, along with an external dust protection lip. Metal reinforcement ring inside the casing provides accurate press-fit seating inside the engine front cover. Original equipment reference numbers include 91212PNC003, 91212-PNC-003, and 91212-PNC-004.

This front crankshaft seal fits Honda Accord Mk7 and Mk8, Civic Mk8, CR-V Mk2 and Mk3, Stream, Element, and FR-V models fitted with 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre K-series petrol engines (K20A, K20Z, K24A, K24Z) produced between 2001 and 2012. Replacement is necessary when oil leaks appear around the crankshaft pulley, when the rubber material hardens or cracks due to thermal aging, or during scheduled timing chain replacement and major engine overhauls. Fitting this original specification oil seal restores proper crankcase sealing and prevents lubricant loss onto surrounding drive belts.
