Output shaft oil seal Mitsubishi MD731708 prevents transmission fluid leakage from the manual gearbox and transfer case output flange. Manufactured from fluororubber (FKM) material, this seal retains flexibility across temperatures from -40 °C to +180 °C. Key dimensions measure 35 mm internal diameter, 52 mm external diameter, and 9 mm height. The unit features an integrated steel reinforcing frame, a spring-loaded sealing lip, and an auxiliary dust lip to block external contaminants. A right-hand hydrodynamic helix pattern on the contact lip recirculates fluid back into the oil sump during shaft rotation.
